A roseate spoonbill stands tall on a weathered branch, its flat, spoon-tipped bill opened wide. Rose and crimson feathers give way to a creamy neck, a saffron face and a bright red eye, set against soft, pale greens. Feathery needles fill the lower frame, and the bird's upright stance gives the image an easy, characterful presence.
