Every reproduction starts with a high-resolution master
Choose the method that fits the piece. All three include color correction to match your original, a print-ready master file, and archiving for future reprints.

Flatbed scanning
Flat work on paper: drawings, watercolors, ink, prints
$35 per piecePhotographic capture uses a calibrated camera, lens-corrected optics and controlled, even lighting to minimize glare and preserve surface texture. Each capture is squared, cropped to the artwork edge and color-corrected against the original.
On-location capture brings the same camera and lighting to your studio, home, gallery or exhibition space. Nothing has to be packed or moved, which makes it the right choice for murals, oversized or fragile pieces, and documenting a whole body of work in one visit.
Flatbed scanning records flat originals edge to edge with uniform lighting and fine detail, ideal for paper-based work. Scanning is done in the studio, so originals must be dropped off.

Three archival papers
Every print is made with archival pigment inks on your choice of three Breathing Color papers, or on canvas.
Vibrance Matte
Smooth, bright white matte. Best value for open editions, show sales and larger runs.
Vibrance Lustre
Semi-gloss photo finish with deep blacks and vivid color. Strong for photography and saturated, high-contrast work.
Optica One
Heavyweight 100% cotton rag, smooth matte. Museum-grade for limited editions and detailed originals.

Lyve Matte Canvas
Printed on Breathing Color Lyve, a poly/cotton matte canvas that is OBA-free and rated 100+ years archival. Canvas prints are delivered unstretched, ready for your framer. Stretching is not offered.

Optional protective coating
Hand-applied Timeless archival varnish in matte, semi-gloss or gloss. Adds water, scuff and UV resistance. Recommended for canvas that will be stretched or hung unframed.
Having it stretched?
Add a 2–3 inch border so your framer has canvas to wrap. It’s priced at the finished size. Canvas prints up to 44 inches wide.
Other sizes are priced in the estimator. The 10% volume discount applies to canvas prints but not to coating.

04–06 · Custom sizes, borders and packaging
Sized to your artwork's exact proportions
Any size
Prints can be made at any size, sized to your artwork’s exact proportions. Standard sizes use the price tables above; for anything else, the estimator works out the price.
Up to 44 inches wide on Vibrance Lustre, Optica One and canvas, and 36 inches on Vibrance Matte, at any length. Ideal for panoramas and long-format work.
Borders
Room to sign, number or mat. A white border increases the finished paper size, and the print is priced at that finished size.
Finished size = image + 2 × border
Example: a 16 × 20 image with a 2 inch border is a 20 × 24 finished print: $64 on Optica One, against $44 without a border.
Packaging
Every print is packed flat in a clear protective bag. A foam core insert is optional and adds rigidity for display bins, resale and transport. Prints are never mounted.

How it works
- Drop off your originals or book an on-location shoot. We review each piece and choose photographic capture or scanning.
- Capture and color correction. Your artwork is digitized and matched to the original.
- Order a proof print (optional). Check color against your original before the full run; proofs are billed as regular prints.
- Printing and packaging. Prints are made on your chosen paper and packed to your order.
- Pick up. Originals and prints are returned together; with on-location capture, your originals never leave your hands.
09 · Photo restoration
Old, faded and damaged photographs, repaired by hand
Each photo is digitized, repaired and returned as a restored high-resolution file, ready to print. Every restoration starts with a scan or capture at the standard $35 fee; the restoration level is added on top.

Total = $35 capture + restoration level + any prints
Example: a creased 5 × 7 family photo with moderate restoration, printed at 8 × 10 on Vibrance Lustre in a clear bag: $35 + $65 + $15 + $1 = $116.
Bring in your original for a free evaluation. The level and price are confirmed before any work begins, and turnaround is quoted with the evaluation. Restored files can be printed in any size and paper from the price table, and your original photo is returned unaltered.
10 · Policies and terms
The fine print
Turnaround
Captured and scanned images are typically finished in 2–3 days. Prints typically take 2–4 days from order.
Pickup and delivery
Local pickup in West Monroe, or local delivery in the Monroe/West Monroe area, with the fee quoted by distance. No shipping.
Payment
Due in full at pickup or delivery. Checks payable to Joshua Smith; Zelle and Venmo accepted.
Deposits
A 50% deposit is required before work begins on on-location capture, orders over $250, and prints larger than 30 × 40.
Unclaimed orders
Orders not picked up within 30 days of completion are billed in full.
Files on record
Your digital masters are kept on file so you can reorder at any time at current rates.
Remakes
Prints with a production defect, or that don't match an approved proof, are reprinted free. Report issues within 7 days of pickup. Changes after a proof is approved, changes to your files, and damage after pickup are billed as new prints.
Your originals
Artwork is handled with care in the studio, but we are not responsible for pre-existing damage or the normal handling risks of fragile work. Please insure high-value pieces.
Rights
You keep all rights to your artwork and its reproductions. By placing an order, you confirm you own the artwork or have permission to reproduce it.
