A roseate spoonbill stands tall on a weathered, arching branch, wings lifted overhead so each pink feather catches the light. The long spoon-tipped bill points forward, echoing the sweep of the branch below. Soft blue sky and wisps of white cloud leave plenty of quiet space around the bird, letting its blush of colour carry the frame.
