Two roseate spoonbills share a branch among fresh green leaves, the upper bird balanced on the other's back with its wings opened in a broad fan of rose and pale pink. Soft light falls through the feathers and catches the golden heads, red eyes and long spatulate bills, set against the textured bark of the trees and a gently blurred woodland behind.
